The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has confirmed the rescue of former Big Brother Naija winner Ilebaye Odiniya and her brothers following an alleged confrontation involving their father in Abuja.

According to the police, Ilebaye and her siblings sustained injuries during the incident and were later hospitalised for treatment.

Police Confirm Rescue Operation

The FCT Police Command disclosed the development in a statement obtained by TVC News on Sunday.

Authorities also confirmed that Ilebaye’s father, who reportedly sustained injuries during the confrontation, is currently receiving medical attention while remaining in police custody.

The incident comes barely hours after a distressing video shared by the BBNaija star went viral online, triggering widespread concern among fans, celebrities, and social media users.

Officers Forced Entry Into Residence

According to the statement, police operatives arrived at the residence around 12:00 a.m. after receiving reports linked to the situation.

The operation involved a patrol team from the Wuye Division alongside officers from the Department of Operations of the FCT Police Command.

Upon arrival, officers reportedly discovered that the gate to the residence was locked, making immediate access difficult.

The command stated that after several attempts, police eventually gained access into the compound around 2:30 a.m.

Victims Taken to Hospital

Following the rescue, Ilebaye and her siblings were taken to the NNPC Hospital in Abuja for urgent medical attention.
