Entrepreneur Sues Frank Edoho’s Estranged Wife, Sandra, Demands ₦100 Million Over Alleged Defamation

Entrepreneur Adekoya Ibukunoluwa has filed a ₦100 million defamation suit against Sandra Edoho, the estranged wife of broadcaster Frank Edoho, over alleged defamatory posts published on Instagram.

According to court documents dated July 17, 2026, Adekoya, through her lawyer, Festus Ogun of FOLEGAL, accused Sandra of libel, fraudulent misrepresentation and breach of privacy.

Allegations Before the Court

The claimant alleged that Sandra falsely linked her to an extramarital affair with Frank Edoho through social media posts that included her photograph, private WhatsApp conversations and a video.

Adekoya claimed the publications portrayed her as one of several women involved with the broadcaster, exposing her to public ridicule, cyberbullying and reputational damage after the content circulated online.

Claims of Impersonation

The suit also alleged that on November 19, 2023, Sandra impersonated Frank Edoho on WhatsApp and invited Adekoya to the Edoho residence in Victoria Garden City, Lagos, under the guise of discussing a ₦10 million business opportunity.

According to the court documents, Adekoya was picked up by a person introduced as Frank’s brother, taken to the residence and locked inside a room before Frank allegedly discovered the situation and apologised.

Reliefs Sought

Adekoya is asking the court to declare the Instagram publications defamatory and order Sandra to remove them from her social media platforms.

She is also seeking a public apology, an order restraining Sandra from making similar publications in the future and ₦100 million in damages, alongside legal costs.

Her legal team has proposed an out-of-court settlement requiring Sandra to delete the posts, publish an apology acknowledging the alleged impersonation and pay ₦20 million in damages. The letter reportedly gives Sandra seven days to respond.

No Response Yet

The lawsuit comes amid public interest in the separation between Frank and Sandra Edoho.

As of July 18, 2026, neither Sandra Edoho nor Frank Edoho has publicly responded to the allegations contained in the suit.
