Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Neche has voluntarily left the reality show after citing pressing personal matters requiring her immediate attention, organisers confirmed on Monday, August 17, 2026.

Neche, who was the Head of House for the week, announced her decision shortly after Sunday’s live eviction show, which saw Kamsy leave the competition.

Neche Announces Exit

Neche informed her fellow housemates in the lounge before removing her microphone and name tag and proceeding to the diary room to formalise her exit.

She did not disclose the reason for her decision to the other contestants at the time. Her sudden departure left the housemates surprised and emotional.

Organisers Confirm Personal Reasons

MultiChoice Nigeria and the BBNaija production team later confirmed the voluntary exit in an official statement.

“Neche took this decision as a result of pressing personal matters, which she said required immediate attention,” the organisers said.

The production team praised Neche for her energy, commitment and achievements during her time on the show, adding that she remains part of the BBNaija family.

Neche Leaves During Season 11

BBNaija Season 11, themed “Show Ya Sef,” premiered on July 26, 2026, with 24 housemates competing for a ₦160 million grand prize.

Before Neche’s departure, Martins and Mercedes had been evicted from the show, while Kamsy became the latest housemate to leave during Sunday’s live eviction.
