Hosting a party; a birthday celebration, dinner, or just having invited guests over, and you are looking for non-alcoholic drinks to serve your guests at the party.

Non-alcoholic drinks are drinks that do not intoxicate or make people get drunk.

In this post, we would be giving you two types of drinks you can serve at your party for your guests, and also you would be taught how to make these drinks tasty and nutritious.

1. POMEGRITA

Pomegrita is a cocktail drink that is non-alcoholic, tastes sweet and nutritious.

Ingredients for making Pomegrita

  • Get 1 pomegranate
  • Get ½ lemon
  • Get ½ lime
  • Get ¼ cup grape juice
  • You can also get lime slices for decoration

The quantity above can make one glass of pomegrita, so if you need more than one glass, you can always double up the ingredients

Procedure for making Pomegrita Cocktail

  • Remove the pomegranate seed from its fruit
  • Put the seeds in a bowl and pound them together.
  • After mashing the seeds together, you sieve out the juice from it
  • Add a slice of lime
  • Pour the grape juice
  • Squeeze a few lemon and lime inside
  • Then you stir, and slowly pour your pomegranate cocktail into a glass cup.
  • To serve cold, get ice blocks and you are ready to serve your guests.

2. Nigerian Chapman

This can also be regarded as a cocktail drink without alcohol, the Chapman comes with various mixtures of fruit flavors.

Ingredients for Chapman

  • Get a ½ cup grenadine syrup: This Syrup gives the drink a classic red color
  • Buy a 35cl Fanta orange
  • Get a 35cl sprite
  • Get an orange, ½
  • Get a lemon ½
  • Ice cubes
  • You can also buy a Blackcurrant Ribena if you wish; it adds to the red color and gives the drink a sweetened taste

To add to the taste; You can buy citrus or fruits like; cucumber, strawberry, bananas, lemon, or lime

Procedures for making Chapman

  • Get a Mug
  • Pour a few ice cubes into the mug
  • Add the quantity of the grenadine syrup
  • Add the squeezed quantity of orange and lemon
  • Pour the Fanta first, followed by the Sprite
  • Add the fruits; cucumber, orange, lemon, banana, or whatever fruit you deem fit,
  • Pour the blackcurrant Ribena.
  • Mix it with a straw, and serve cold to your guests

Before Making your Chapman; ensure that you

  • Break the ice cubes and mix with water or a combination of the Fanta and the sprite.
  • Ensure that the Grenadine Syrup, Fanta, and Sprite are already in the fridge.
  • Cut the orange and the lemon into two equal parts each then cut one half of each into thin quarters. Keep the other halves for squeezing into the drink.

3. ZOBO

Zobo is a Nigerian drink that is made from dried roselle flower plant

Ingredients for making Zobo Drink

The following are the ingredients for making 5 litres

  • 1 glove of garlic
  • Add plenty water
  • Get 2 big pineapple
  • Get 1 piece of ginger

Procedure for making Zobo

  • Wash your zobo leaves
  • Pour it into a very deep pot
  • Cut your pineapples into the pot
  • Pour water into the pot and cover.
  • Place it on fire, and start cooking at medium to high heat
  • Allow it to boil for 5 minutes
  • Pour the ginger and garlic, then add more water to it and allow it to boil for another 30 minutes
  • After 30 minutes, put it down from the fire to cool down
  • After that, squeeze out the juice from the zobo leaves
  • Pour the zobo juice in another pot through a sieve to remove the particles
  • You can add artificial flavors at this stage, and stir
  • Put into bottles, and keep it inside the fridge
  • You can serve cold afterward
