Who should a man respect most between his mother and wife

In every man’s life, both mother and wife play prominent roles. While mother gives life and brings him up facing all the odds, the wife becomes his twin soul caring and also correcting him and standing by him throughout the life.

It is said that “A Husband finds a second mother in his wife, while a wife finds her first baby in the husband”. The role of a mother and wife are intangible in a man’s life. She can’t be a better mother if she isn’t a better wife.

There is this competition always between some mothers and their daughter-in-law. Some are caused by the extreme closeness between mother and son, some are because the mother singlehandedly trained the son, Some men even fond the habit of saying no woman can come in between him and his mother

However as a man, both your mother and wife are important to you and they play different roles, I do not think there should be competition between the two. If you as a man can not create a balance between the affection you show your mother, and the one you show your wife, then you are not yet mature.

Mother introduces the world to the child, while the child becomes her world. A Child grows up enjoying the love, care, and compassion from his Mother. Starting from the birth of her child, she fights with the world and protects her child

Likewise, the Wife comes like a rainbow and becomes a part of him. She takes over the care and role of a mother. Though she cannot replace a mother, she becomes a friend, guide, nurse, cook etc. everything a mother can be
Mostly, love is the bone of contention here.

A mother or a father loves their son unconditionally and similarly, a wife does the same to her husband. While their intentions are the same to keep the person they love happy their ways of achieving that may be different. There will obviously be a clash of interest, which might lead to a sense of insecurity.

For a mother, the fear of losing her son to the new woman will always be there. For a wife, there will always be pressure to prove herself better than her mother-in-law.

What are the roles of a mother and a wife, I think if both parties know their roles, fight won’t erupt

• A wife takes care of her husband when he returns from his work.

• She looks after his basic needs.

• She is his associate.

• Mother:
• A mother takes care of her children’s education.

• A mother nourishes her children properly and guides them.

• Notion:
• A wife is often considered a good companion to a husband.

• On the other hand, a mother is often considered as the one who showers kindness and compassion.

• Mistakes:
• Wife does not forgive all kinds of mistakes or blemishes on the part of the husband.

• Mother forgives any mistake committed.

• Possibility for Misunderstanding:
• There is always a possibility of a kind of misunderstanding between a husband and a wife.

• There is no chance for any misunderstanding between a mother and a son or a mother and a daughter for that matter.

• Love:
• The love shown by a wife is faith personified.

• The love shown by a mother is universal.
