Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior has recently signed a lucrative five-year contract extension with the club, according to reports from Spanish outlet Cadena ESR. The Brazilian international has committed to staying at Real Madrid until 2028, becoming one of the highest-paid players at the club.

Additionally, the new deal also includes an increased buyout clause of €1 billion and a “loyalty clause” that rewards Vinicius for completing the full five-year term, indicating Real Madrid’s desire to retain him for the long term. The negotiations between the club and the 22-year-old player are reportedly in their final stages, with an agreement expected soon.

Meanwhile, Vinicius who had an impressive 2022 season, contributed significantly to Real Madrid’s victories in various competitions, including La Liga, the UEFA Champions League, the Spanish Super Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, and the Club World Cup.
