The north supplies most of the food in the country and even move to neighbouring countries to sell their produce.

Alhaji Aliko Dangote is known as the richest man in Nigeria, not only in Nigeria, he is also the richest man in Africa as of the time we published this post. He is the richest Hausa/Fulani man and he made it on Forbes Number 19 Richest Billionaires list in the world.

Aliko Dangote is from Kano, Kano State. He was born on the 10th of April, 1957. Meaning that Dangote is the richest man in Kano state.

Dangote was privileged to be born into a wealthy home. He is the great-grandson of Alhaji Alhassan Dantata, the man who was the richest in West Africa before his death in 1955.

Dangote is into cement production, telecommunication, transport, sugar production, salt, agro sacks, oil refining, real estate, petrochemicals, and the rest of them.

Abdulsamad Rabiu is the second richest man in the Northern part of Nigeria and also he is the 3rd richest man in Nigeria and according to Forbes he made it on the 16th spot of the richest men in Africa.

Abdulsamad Rabiu is the founder and CEO of BUA, a conglomerate that is into agriculture, logistics, manufacturing, infrastructure, and port operations. Mr Rabiu is also the chairman of the Nigerian Bank of Industry.

Abdulsamad Rabiu was born on 4th August 1960 in Kano State.

Abdulsamad Rabiu studied in Kano State during his early days. He studied Economics from Capital University, Columbus, Ohio, the USA where he bagged a bachelor’s degree.

Theophilus Danjuma is the 3rd richest northerner, he is also among the richest men in Nigeria and also in Africa.

Theophilus Danjuma is the current Chairman of SAPETRO, he was once the chief of Army staff and minister of defence during the Olusegun Obasanjo administration. Danjuma later retired as a General from the Nigerian Army.

Danjuma was born in Takum, Taraba State, Nigeria.

He was Chief of Army Staff from July 1975 to October 1979.

MOHAMMED INDIMI

Mohammed Indimi OFR is a Nigerian billionaire businessman and philanthropist. He is the founder and chairman of Oriental Energy Resources, a privately-held Nigerian oil exploration and production company

Dantata made the 5th position on the list of the richest men in Northern Nigeria. He is the Director of Engineering and Transport of the Dangote Group and the Founder of MRS Holdings Ltd.

He studied mechanical engineering at Morris Brown College Atlanta – Georgia, the USA where he bagged a bachelor’s degree.

MRS Holdings deals with Oil and Gas exploration and production.
