Sophia Momodu to 30BG Fans: ‘Stop Forcing Davido on Me, I Haven’t Spoken to Him in Five Years’

Businesswoman Sophia Momodu has criticised fans of Afrobeats star Davido for repeatedly bringing her into conversations about the singer, insisting she has not spoken to her daughter’s father in five years.

In a strongly worded social media rant, Sophia said she is tired of being linked to her former partner and urged fans to move on.

‘I Don’t Want Him’

Expressing her frustration, Sophia accused some fans of trying to force Davido back into her life despite the end of their relationship.

“I’ve never seen a fanbase force a man that she doesn’t want down a woman’s neck so much like you guys. You’re so irritating! Don’t tell me what to do,” she said.

She added that she has had no contact with the singer for years.

“I haven’t been with or seen or even spoken to this man in five years. Let it go! Nobody wants him. Apart from his offspring maybe, but he’s not needed or wanted here. Respect it and move on!” she stated.

Calls for Fans to Move On

Sophia also dismissed the constant rivalry between online fan groups, saying she has no interest in participating.

According to her, everyone directly involved has already moved on with their lives.

“The guy is so happy with his child, and the child is so happy with her father, and the mother is so happy with her lover. When are you people going to move on? Everyone has moved on with their lives, everyone is happy,” she said.

She described the continued online exchanges as a “fake beef,” arguing that fans are fighting over people who no longer want to be together.

Sophia and Davido share a daughter, Imade. Their co-parenting relationship has remained a subject of public interest over the years.
