Who Is Rolf Buchholz?

Rolf Bucholz is a German computer science graduate and employee of a telephone firm, began obtaining tattoos and body piercings at the end of 1999 when he was forty years old—more than twenty years ago.

In 2012 and 2019, Buchholz was listed in the Guinness Book for having the most body piercings with a total of 561. 94 lip piercings, 25 brow piercings, 8 nose piercings, and 278 genital piercings are among the 170 facial piercings.

He also has two false horn implants and wears what is known as body suspensions. Rolf also underwent two implants in the form of false horns on his forehead. Additionally, his tongue is split, and he has transdermal implants in his fingertips. The tattoos on Buchholz’s entire upper body and limbs are a hobby of his as well.

According to the news agency UPI, he wasn’t always interested in standing out. At the age of 40, he got his first tattoo, which is rather late in life. However, he rapidly developed a body art addiction and started experimenting with other piercings.

Some of Rolf’s alterations pique the audience’s interest more than others, though they are all undoubtedly attention-grabbing. The German even has horn implants on his head, to boot. That shows a lot of dedication to body modifications and tattoos.

“I think my most famous body modifications are my horn implants. They are really big,” Rolf says, touching the two subdermal horn-shaped implants on his forehead.

“Other than that I have a lot of implants, as you can see, on the arms and on the back of my hand. I also have a star under my chest.”

As Rolf Buchholz explains, he has 35 total implants all made of medical-grade silicone.

How He Became The World’s Most Pierced Man

In 2010, Rolf Buchholz became famous after Guinness named him the person with the most body piercings. His total count at the time was 453, including 158 in the area directly above his lips and 37 in his brows.

Additionally, Buchholz has more than six subdermal implants around his wrists and scarification marks all over his body. Not even Buchholz’s eyeballs have escaped his dramatic alteration; almost 90% of his body is now covered with tattoos. The whites of his eyes are now entirely black, though it’s unclear what kind of operation he underwent.

Funny enough, Rolf Buchholz claimed that his palm tattoo was the most excruciating experience he had undergone of all his radical treatments. He pointed to his tattooed palms, which are both painful to the touch. I don’t have a high pain threshold.
