The Nigerian senate is made up of some of the richest politicians in Nigeria and a handful of them are hardly in the spotlight.
Senators in Nigeria are so called because they are members of the Nigerian senate which is the upper chamber of the country’s bicameral legislature- The National Assembly. Nigeria has 109 senators representing all 109 senatorial districts in the country. These senators debate over the creation and update of laws in the country. Basically, they are known as Lawmakers.

Oluremi Tinubu is a former first lady of Lagos State and wife to APC Presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu. She is a senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial District at the Nigerian House of Assembly under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Oluremi is a pastor at the renowned “Redeemed Christian Church of God” and she is known for her many reforms as a politician. She is currently in her third tenure as a senator- she was elected in 2011 and has since retained her seat. Senator Kalu represents Abia North Senatorial district and he is undoubtedly one of the richest senators in Nigeria at the moment. The 62-year-old April-born senator also serves as the chief whip of the Nigerian House of Senate.
The Ex Abia State Governor is one of those Nigerian politicians who made their fortune from private businesses before venturing into politics. At age 26, he became the youngest Nigerian to receive the National Merit Award from President Ibrahim Babangida in 1986.
