The Nigerian senate is made up of some of the richest politicians in Nigeria and a handful of them are hardly in the spotlight.

Senators in Nigeria are so called because they are members of the Nigerian senate which is the upper chamber of the country’s bicameral legislature- The National Assembly. Nigeria has 109 senators representing all 109 senatorial districts in the country. These senators debate over the creation and update of laws in the country. Basically, they are known as Lawmakers.

Before venturing into politics, some of these senators have made a fortune from private businesses and other ventures. Some, however, were known to be rich after their election into office.
