Pastor William Folorunsho Kumuyi, General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, has announced free surgeries, eye treatments, medicines and other medical services for residents ahead of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) in Ota, Ogun State.
The five-day crusade, themed “Total Transformation Through Christ,” is scheduled to hold from August 26 to 30, 2026, at the Anglican Church Grammar School, Abebi, Ota, with daily sessions beginning at 5 p.m.
Free Surgeries and Medical Services
The medical outreach includes general, gynaecological and ophthalmic surgeries, as well as consultations, diagnosis, treatment and free medicines.
Organisers said the surgical procedures were scheduled for August 24 and 25 at the State Hospital in Ota and the General Hospital in Idiroko, Ipokia Local Government Area, with qualified medical specialists handling the procedures.
Pre-surgical screening was conducted earlier in August, while additional services include dental care and maternal and child health support.
Kumuyi Reaffirms Medical Support
Kumuyi reiterated the availability of the services on August 25 during a courtesy visit to the Olota of Ota, Oba Prof. Adeyemi Obalanlege.
He said teams of doctors, nurses and other specialists would provide medical care, perform operations, including eye surgeries, and distribute medicines at no cost to beneficiaries.
The services form part of the GCK Medical Missions, which have been incorporated into the ministry’s outreach activities in different locations.
GCK Crusade Begins in Ota
The Ota crusade is jointly hosted by the Christian Association of Nigeria and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria in Ogun West, alongside the Deeper Christian Life Ministry.
The programme is open to people irrespective of denomination or background, according to the organisers.
Other activities connected to the crusade include an All Believers’ Conference and a youth programme, while organisers have also planned prison and community outreach activities.
The announcement has attracted attention online, with posts highlighting the free surgeries, eye treatments and medicines being provided as part of the Ota outreach.
