Meet Chef Dami of “Ekiti”

Chef Damilola Adeparusi is an undergraduate student of the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) who is currently challenging the present cook-a-thon record in Ilupeju-Ekiti. Additionally, Chef Dammy as popularly called started her 120-hour marathon cooking task at 12 am on Friday, but in a very small space kitchen with little ventilation with the intention of setting a record of her own after Hilda Bacil a Nigerian Chef also attempted a few weeks earlier.

Additionally, Dammy is also believed to be a poet, songwriter, and editor as she has also majored in and cultivated her culinary skills. Her official social media pages carry these titles as well.

She is a curious person and has a passion for researching and learning about new things and taking up challenges that have helped her cultivate her skills. Chef Dami was actually inspired by Hilda Bacil to take up the cooking marathon challenge that she is currently undertaking at the Spirit Word Global Mission church in Ilupeju.

Will Chef Dami’s record-breaking deny Hilda’s certification?

Although it is believed among many Nigerian that Chef Dami breaking Hilda’s record will cost Hilda her certification, well, it is evident that major beliefs about this have affected the masses’ reception and support for Dami. The truth is Dami breaking the record will not hinder Hilda from getting her own certification. Hilda is a record-breaker and as long as the Guinness world record did not find any fault with her cookathon, as long as these facts her checked she will get her certification.
