The United States of America is the third largest country in the world by area, with a total of 9,826,675 sq. km. Within the country, however, there are 50 States and a Federal District, the Federal Capital Territory- Washington D.C.

Among these states, there are some with square miles as small as 560, however, the largest State in the U.S is Alaska with a total of 665,384.04 square miles. This article contains the top 10 largest States in the U.S by square miles. Let’s get straight into it.

10. Wyoming
