BACKGROUND
The Nigerian movie actor and producer Zubby Azubuike was born on Feb 1st 1985 to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Egwu in Anambra State.
Zubby is a native of Ozobulu in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State; a state in the South-Eastern part of Nigeria.
Although Michael is a native of Anambra State, he grew up in Yola
EDUCATION
Zubby Michael completed his elementary and secondary education in Adamawa
After completing and obtaining his First School Leaving Certificate and West African School Certificate, Zubby Michael got admitted into the prestigious Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Akwa.
Zubby at the University studied and bagged a degree in Mass Communication.
CAREER
Zubby Michael officially began his acting career in 2006. Earlier to that, he actively participated in his church and school’s drama society.
His debut movie was “The Three Widows”. He, however, came to the limelight when he acted in the hit movies, “Royal Storm” and “The Generals”. He starred in the movies alongside popular moguls in the Nollywood industry, including Uche Jumbo, Sylvester Madu, Jim Iyke, among others.
Zubby mentioned that he began his acting career in Yola. According to him, he met a movie producer who introduced him to the industry, and he casually featured in a movie titled: “Missing Rib”.
He also disclosed in an interview with The Vanguard that he used to be a successful businessman before he ventured into acting full-time.
Zubby Michael works as a producer. His first movie production, “First Hit”, featured Nollywood stars such as Nonso Diobi, Junior Pope, and Ebere Okaro. Zubby Michael has also featured in over 200 movies and still counting.
MARITAL LIFE
Zubby Michael is currently single, according to Zubby, he is not ready for commitment yet.
