Who is Grand P?
Grand P was born on the 13th of October of 1993, as Moussa Sandiana Kaba in Sanguiana, Nabaya, Guinea. At birth, he was diagonized with a rare genetic disease called progeria. Which meant he started ageing right from birth. His health condition limits his height to two meters.
As stated earlier Grand P’s relationship with Eudoxie Yao has put them on the spotlight for a few years now. The couple made several headlines across the continent after the Eudoxie first revealed Grand P as her boyfriend in October 2019, This event got her over 1 million followers on Instagram
She revealed that they met each other at a concert hosted by the 28-year old singer in Guinea, She also revealed that even though her parents due not approve of the relationship due to certain reasons what matter was that they love each other.
She also noted that physiques does not count in thier relationship as she is over 5 times his size, laying emphasis on their happiness together.
However, in 2021 Eudoxie called off their relationship over infidelity after photos of Grand P with the woman he allegedly cheated with went viral.
Eudoxie took to Facebook to announce that the relationship is over and she will now be focusing on her music.Few months after the break up, Grand P apologized and proposed to Eudoxie on a live Televeision.
Despite the engagement, Several critics speculates that the couple’s relationship is part of a marketing stunt, an accusation, the have denied on several occasion.
Some others speculated that Eudoxie is engaged to Grand P to get his money. However, she has also countlessly refuted the rumor, saying that her love for the Guinean singer is real and she is not engaged to him for his money.
Musical Career
Although Grand P is suffering from progeria he is often described as dominant artist who has managed to capture everybody’s attention with his art.
In 2019, He performed during a show by Kerfalla Kanté at the People’s Palace in Conakry and was also a part of the delegation that represented and supported Guinea in Cairo for the CAN (Africa Cup of Nations). This ample support from his home country led to his musical success and to gain popularity in Africa and the rest of the world.
Grand P has collaborated with top icons in the Guinean music industry including the likes of Azaya and King Alasko. He has few singles, collaborations, and an album to his name.
His album is titled “I khadi nanna” and his singles include “Grand P Barana”, “Life”, “Syli”. In 2019, he was featured by Sidiki Diabaté in a single titled “Irhafama”. On 11 September 2020, He was also featured by Boncena in another single titled “Amour Ndoto (Dream)”.
Political Career
In 2022, Grand P took to Facebook to announce that he will be contesting Guinea’s upcoming elections. According to reports the 28-year-old Singer will be forming a political party called Amour Consideration et Unite – “Love, Consideration, and Unity”.
“I declare my candidacy for the 2020 presidential election in Guinea,” the musician wrote. “May God bless Guinea.”
“I will be in Guinea with my husband Grand P, the next president of Guinea. I will run his campaign,” Yao said.
“Full support for my husband Grand P, the future president of the Republic of Guinea,” Yao wrote on Instagram.
“My candidacy for the presidential election of Cote d’Ivoire has been rejected, but I do not despair. See you in 2025 for my candidacy. Even if I am not President of Cote d’Ivoire, I can be the First Lady of Guinea. I believe in it,” she said.
