Ganduje: Skitmakers To Be Beaten Publicly For Defamation
The TikTok skit makers arrested and charged with defamation of Kano State Governor, Ganduje have been sentenced.

Recall some TikTok skit makers had made the headline in the past week for being arrested and charged with defamation of Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje upon a video they uploaded on their verified TikTok page.

As of yesterday, the 7th of November, 2022, Magistrate Aminu Gabari of the state Magistrates’ Court in Kano has ordered the comedians identified as Mubarak Muhammed and Nazifi Bala to sweep and wash the toilets on the premises of the Magistrates’ court for 30 days. Also, they have been sentenced to receive 20 strokes of the cane each publicly. Furthermore, they are also ordered to pay a fine of ₦10,000 for defaming Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and another ₦10,000 for causing public disturbance.
