From Port Harcourt To Miss World
Karibi-George is a communications professional from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and represented Bayelsa State at the Miss World Nigeria competition.
She was crowned Miss World Nigeria 2026 in June after competing against other finalists under the theme “Pride, Power, and Purpose.”
She is also the founder of Beyond Labels, an initiative focused on inclusion and empowerment for children with special needs. Karibi-George previously won the Miss Africa International 2024 title.
Africa’s Top Model Win Secures Top 40 Place
Karibi-George had earlier secured a place among the Top 40 quarterfinalists after winning the Africa’s Top Model title at the Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest.
The achievement automatically qualified her for the quarterfinal stage of the Miss World competition.
The 73rd Miss World Festival is being held in Vietnam, with the grand finale scheduled for September 5, 2026.
Federal Government Urges Support
The Federal Government has also called on Nigerians to support Karibi-George as she advances in the competition.
Minister of Art, Culture and the Creative Economy Hannatu Musawa praised her representation of Nigeria and encouraged Nigerians to vote for the contestant as the festival reaches its final stage.
