A Nigerian police officer has raised concerns over the content and alleged activities found on the phones of secondary school students during a school outreach in Delta State.
The officer, identified in related social media posts as CSP Setemi Agbede-Zuokumor, recounted the experience in a video circulating widely online on August 24, 2026.

According to the officer, police officers seized several students’ phones during the school visit and discovered disturbing material on some of the devices.
She said one student unlocked his phone to reveal videos showing female classmates in explicit or nearly nude situations. The student allegedly claimed the girls were selling the videos.
The officer also alleged that the same phone contained numerous foreign telephone numbers, including Australian numbers, which the student was reportedly using for online fraud.
Other social media accounts sharing the remarks claimed that some students were caught watching pornography or engaging in sexual activity during school hours.

The officer also expressed concern over the type of devices reportedly recovered from the students.
She said many of the confiscated phones were high-end models, including iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 devices, despite descriptions of some of the students’ parents as petty business owners.
According to her, some parents later visited her office seeking the return of their children’s phones.
She described what she witnessed as “the destruction of this generation,” while highlighting concerns about the exposure of young people to harmful online content and criminal activities.
Claims About Online Fraud
Related summaries of the officer’s remarks claimed that one student had more than 85 Australian telephone numbers on his device and allegedly used photographs of white people in online scams.
The same reports claimed that the student was selling intimate images or videos of classmates for as much as ₦500,000.
