American billionaire John Morgan has disclosed that every one of his children must sign a prenuptial agreement before getting married, warning that anyone who refuses will not receive any inheritance from him.

Speaking on the Earn Your Leisure podcast, Morgan said the family policy is designed to protect the wealth he has built and ensure his children marry for love rather than financial gain.

‘No Prenup, No Inheritance’

Morgan said the high rate of divorce influenced his decision to make prenuptial agreements compulsory for his children.

“Number one, 50% of all marriages are going to end in divorce. That’s just raw numbers. For people who marry after 30, it’s only 4%. Wait till you’re 30. Get it out of your system. Have your fun in your 20s,” he said.

According to him, he deliberately takes responsibility for the policy so his children do not have to appear demanding before their partners.

“My dad is not going to leave us any money if he doesn’t get this prenup signed. I become the bad guy,” he said.

‘They’re Looking for the Money’

Morgan argued that people who reject prenuptial agreements are often more interested in money than in the relationship.

“When you start asking somebody a prenup, here’s the first thing they’re going to say, ‘You’re just saying this marriage isn’t going to work.’ They’re playing you. I’m like, ‘Bullsh*t, you’re looking for the money.'”

He also shared an experience involving one of his sons, whose fiancée’s lawyer reportedly described the agreement as unfair and sought to negotiate its terms.

Morgan said he rejected the request outright.

“I said, ‘This is a take-it-or-leave-it document. There is no negotiating.'”

He added that he insisted the wedding should not go ahead unless the agreement was signed.

According to him, the document was eventually signed, and the couple have now been married for 13 years.

“If it didn’t work out, I didn’t want somebody going, ‘I’m going to take half of your sh*t,'” he said.
