Who is Bianca Belair?

Bianca Blair with the full name, Bianca Blair Crawford is an American professional wrestler. And is currently signed to WWE where she performs on the Raw brand with the ring name Bianca Belair. She is the reigning Raw women’s champion.

BIANCA BELAIR’S EARLY LIFE

Bianca Belair was born with the name, Bianca Nicole Blair in the year 1989, on the 9th of April in Knoxville, Tennessee United States. Her parents are Travonda Blair and Leonard Blair. She also has four siblings who are, Leonard Jr., Jeffery Philips, Jermaine and Jasta.

BIANCA BELAIR’S CAREER

Before becoming a wrestler, Bianca Belair was a CrossFit competitor and Powerlifter and appeared in RX Magazine, Femme Rouge Magazine, and CrossFit.com. However, she, unfortunately, had to quit this career due to a medical condition named “Intercostal chondritis” (also known as the shifting rib syndrome).

Belair proceeded to wrestle; she made her professional wrestling debut in NXT. Competed for the NXT Women’s Championship on several occasions. And finally became drafted to SmackDown where she won the 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble match, thereby becoming the second African-American superstar after The Rock to win a Royal Rumble match. She also succeeded in challenging for the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Sasha Banks at WrestleMania 37, making them the second women to headline WrestleMania.
In 2021, Bianca was ranked No.1 of the top 150 female wrestlers by Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI).

Bianca believes so much in herself that you proclaim herself the strongest, fastest, toughest, all-around best super-star and also, the EST of WWE. Definitely, she has been an exceptional athlete and has continually maintained her exceptionality throughout and to her wrestling career.

Bianca Belair is very competitive, rugged, and can be merciless in the ring, a risk-taker. She uses her long hair braid as a weapon against her opponents.
Within a short period, Bianca made significant progress in her career; she emerged at WrestleMania 36 to lend a helping hand to The Street Profits. After which she hit the scene on the main roster, first on Raw with the proclamation, “I go here now.” Then she moved to the blue brand where she has become a standout competitor against the likes of Bayley and Carmella.
After winning the 2021 Royal Rumble Match and defeating Sasha Banks at WrestleMania 37 and bagging the SmackDown Women’s title for the first time, she proved that apparently, she is truly the EST of SmackDown.
Note that, her achievements are quite numerous and not all are here in this writeup.

IS BIANCA BELAIR IN A RELATIONSHIP?

Bianca Belair is married. Her husband’s name is Montez Ford. He is also a wrestler and has quite a number of wrestling history and achievements. They also met in WWE and have succeeded in working out a love story.

They had their first date in 2015 when Montez Ford took her to see The Blue Man Group. Two years after, they got married and are still a couple until now. Although there are questions about how many kids they have, Belair and her husband are yet to give any information that answers the questions.

BIANCA BELAIR’S WIN AT THE WRESTLEMANIA 38

After her loss to Lynch in the SmackDown Women’s Champion in August, both of them moved to Raw as a result of the WWE Draft.
Lynch had earlier challenged Belair to an impromptu title match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. This was after she (Lynch) made her surprise return from hiatus. Lynch nailed Belair with a cheap shot and pinned her to win the title in about 20 seconds; this obviously is cheating. She however continually cheated to retain her title for a few other months until she succeeded in kicking Belair out of the title picture. Belair finally got a chance of revenge when after the Elimination Chamber in February. She was able to dodge Lynch’s attempt at cutting off her signature long braid and gave her (Lynch) a new haircut instead.
Another sweet revenge is her win at WrestleMania 38 against Becky Lynch. She finally defeated Lynch and bagged the title of Raw Women’s Championship. Belair is now the new Raw Women’s Champion.
