How To Recharge Your Line Using MTN New Recharge Code
The new MTN recharge pin is *311*Â and we will show you how to recharge in very simple steps but note that you don’t need a recharge pin for those recharging their line directly from the bank otherwise known as VTU.
- First of all, buy a recharge card from a recharge card vendor
- On the recharge car, you will see a code on it which was initially 12 digits before it was changed to 16 then 17 digits but depending on the amount of card you are getting the number of the digit may vary
- Next, once you verify the codes go to your dialer if you are using a smartphone, if you are using a small phone go to your keypad

The new MTN code to buy data is *312# and it can be used to buy any data of your choice just like the old *131#.
- First of all, if you have been using the 131 code, you will just jump right in and press the code *131*1# which will take you straight to the page where you will make your choice. But instead of the old code, you will have to use *312*1# and then follow the prompt.
- For starters, dial *312# in your phone dialer.
- Next, press send or the phone icon on your phone.
- You will get a pop-up message on the same page with many options, select the one that says “Data Plan” by pressing 1, Then send.

- On you choose any of the plans you want to go for then you follow the prompt on the size of data you wish to buy.
- Next, another page will pop up to ask you to confirm if you purchase it as a one-time data plan or auto-renew, or even buy for a friend.
- Select either a one-time data plan or auto-renew by pressing 1 or 2, afterward another page will pop up asking you to select a payment type.
- Next, press 1 if you wish to use your airtime or any other options that are listed on the page if you have any.
