A Twitter user with the handle @KacksMastermind has taken to the Micro-blogging platform to call out the Grammy-award-winning singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy for purportedly owing N1.2 million since April.

The user claimed the singer took 500 Naira mint notes worth 1 million Naira, from one Rasak to spray at a friend’s birthday party at a popular live lounge in Victoria Island Lagos.

He further claimed that Burna Boy promised to make a bank transfer in return for the amount collected, but the singer’s personal assistant did not make the transfer.

He stated that all effort to reach Burna Boy has been futile, he shared a screenshot of a message reaching out to the singer Singer’s Mother in order to recover the debt but did not receive any response.

The Singer and his Management is however yet to respond to the allegations, but many Twitter users suspected that the accuser might just be trying to chase clout with the singer’s public image.

A user with the handle @ulsherlan said; I’m sure there is no way Burnaboy will purposely be in a 1.2m debt. That’s small for his kinda person. Back then, that was how people came out to accuse wizkid of owing too. But whatever it is, I hope it’s sorted ASAP
