It was launched on February 14, 2005, by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim. It is owned by Google, and is the second most visited website, after Google Search. YouTube has more than 2.5 billion monthly users who collectively watch more than one billion hours of videos each day.

As of May 2019, videos were being uploaded at more than 500 hours of content per minute.

Mark Zuckerberg owned Facebook, is third on the list of most visited websites in the World.

Facebook attracts an average of around 20.3 billion visits per month. The website has been online since 2004. On average, users spend 34 minutes on the site daily, while 36% of users say it’s also where they get their news—higher than any other social network.

It is owned and operated by Meta Platforms (formerly Facebook, Inc.), the corporation behind the platform.

4. Twitter

Twitter is an online social media and social networking service owned and operated by American company Twitter, Inc., on which users send and respond publicly or privately to 280-character-long messages, images, and videos known as “tweets”.

Registered users can tweet, like, and ‘retweet’ tweets and direct message (DM), while unregistered users only have the ability to view public tweets.
