HRH Akubuisi Okonkwo became king at 10 on January 7, 2021, succeeding his father, His Royal Highness Igwe Onyeachonam Okonkwo, the Olanme 1 of Iyiora Anam, in the Anambra West Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Akubuisi received guidance from experienced individuals who worked closely with his father, They imparted him with the wisdom requisite for rulership, offering unwavering support and assistance.

Today, he is known as Olanme II of Iyiora Anam Kingdom and, at just 12 years old, he is celebrated as one of Nigeria’s youngest and most courageous kings.
