Popular Skit Maker, Taaooma Reveals Why She Ventured Into Music

Nigerian Skit Maker, Mariam Apaokagi popularly known as Taaooma has revealed why she ventured into the music industry.

The skit maker states that entertainment is freedom and an individual can do anything while featuring as a guest on the latest episode of ‘The Leaderboard podcast hosted by Fisayo Fosudo.

According to Taaooma, she started music because she felt it would be better to use her songs in her comedy skits instead of using themes by other musicians.

Taaooma added that accomplishing music is not so hard because she has a studio where she can record her songs.

She said, “For me, entertainment is freedom. You can do anything.

“I love music. Some people used to say I have [a melodic] voice. But, I feel like, instead of me trying to sing, we can do collaborations and make something happen”
