New Year Resolutions have become a cultural trend practised at the end or beginning of the year. It’s a time people set goals they seek out to accomplish in the New Year.

It could be as simple as dropping a bad habit or hitting a milestone. However, New Year Resolutions are usually geared towards creating a better version of yourself.

Yes, it is always easy to set goals and resolutions but executing is where the problem lies.

This is the first goal to set in 2022. Waking up early allows you to have more time to get things done, it gives you more time to yourself.  Here is an example of a goal setter, you can decide to wake up at 5:00 am for at least 5 days in a week. Deprive yourself of that sleep and you will see changes.

2. Have a routine:

Set daily routines for yourself. Don’t just live your life as it comes by. Be intentional about it. If you’re going to wake up early, then have a morning routine. It increases your chances of having a productive day.

3. Speak up:

Yes, Speak Up! if you want to set your goals right, you have to speak up; great leaders are not afraid to speak up, great leaders challenge others by speaking up. And if you are going to be leading yourself, you need to be confident in yourself. This year 2022, set a goal to become more confident when having discussions. Learn to have a good conversation.

4. Be More Creative:

You have to be more creative in 2022 to be successful. Build your creative mind, learn to think outside the box and come up with new ideas to solve problems. Learn to be different.

This is part of the goals to set in 2022. It is said that humans can not exist in isolation. Unfortunately, the same can not be said of introverts. Be social. Don’t spend 2022 feeling alone, you can start making new friends and going out a couple of times.

8. Sleep Better:

According to experts, good sleep helps the brain function properly. With a night full of rest, you can be energized to start your day.

9. Be In Nature:

There are a lot of benefits to being in nature, It can help calm you and maybe even help you find more perspective in life. Try your best to get in nature.

Visit different places and meet new people to challenge you and your ideas of life. You can travel every few months or so to places you’ve never been.

11. Be Compassionate:

Being compassionate to yourself first, and practising compassion towards others helps us to be more helpful to people. Everyone is going through a lot and at times, a little compassion is all they need to heal.

It is not always easy to achieve dreams as soon as we want them. At times, it takes so long that we almost forget since we have new dreams. Try to go over your old dreams and achieve them.
