Mohamed Salah is an Egyptian football star, considered by many as the greatest African footballer of all time. He presently plays as a right winger or forward for Premier League club Liverpool and captains the Egypt national team He is particularly known for his clinical finishing, dribbling, and speed.  With a 13-year-old career, Salah has developed to become one of the highest-paid athletes in the World and ultimately the richest footballer in Africa. Biography

Mohamed Salah was born on the 15th of June 1992. At a very young age, he started playing football, participating in several local youth teams. In 2010, he started playing professionally for the Cairo-based Egyptian sports team Al Mokawloon.

After joining Basel in 2012, Salah played his first official game against Molde in the UEFA Champions League preliminary stage. Salah won the 2012 and 2013 Swiss Super Competition championships at Basel, where he also scored his first goal in a European competition.

After reportedly paying £11 million to join Chelsea in 2014, he was loaned to Fiorentina and Roma before signing a permanent deal with Roma for €15 million. This was due to his limited playing time. Salah was unable to earn any honors throughout his tenure in the league, despite having many playing opportunities and stints at the two Italian teams.

In 2017, Mohamed Salah became the most expensive Egyptian footballer in history when he signed a record-breaking £36.9 million contract to play for Liverpool. In his debut season, he helped Liverpool reach the 2018 UEFA Champions League Final and broke the record for most Premier League goals scored (32) in a 38-game season.

Salah contributed to the team’s victories in the FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, Premier League, and Champions League In 2019. He also took home the League Cup and the FA Cup in 2021. Career

El Mokawloon, a side in the Egyptian Premier League, was where Salah began his career. He made his debut in 2010 and maintained a strong performance for the duration of his rookie season. Chelsea

In the January transfer window of 2014, Salah signed a contract with Chelsea for a transfer fee of 11 million pounds. Salah began his Chelsea career as a substitute and had a few goals in the 2013–14 campaign. Fiorentina

In 2015, Salah moved to Fiorentina on a loan deal. He had an instant effect on Fiorentina, scoring goals frequently and inspiring his team to victory over Tottenham in the Europa League. On February 14, Salah started his debut game for Fiorentina against Sassuolo, and in the thirty-first minute, he scored the team’s opening goal. Just two minutes after scoring, he then helped Khouma Babacar score another goal; Fiorentina won 3-1. Twelve days later, Salah scored Fiorentina’s first goal in Europe as his team defeated Tottenham 3-1 on aggregate to go to the Europa League round of 16.

On March 1, Salah scored his third goal in Serie A to give Fiorentina the victory over Inter Milan. Four days later, Salah scored both goals for Fiorentina in their 2-1 victory against Juventus in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semifinal. Fiorentina exercised the option to extend the loan at the end of the season, but Salah turned down the offer. Salah chose to join neighboring Serie A team Roma rather than return to Fiorentina, despite the loan agreement’s 18-month duration. Fiorentina complained to FIFA on September 11th, alleging that Chelsea had broken the terms of the deal by allowing Salah to sign a loan with Roma. Roma

Salah had greater ambitions, despite the fact that he had established himself in the Italian league with Fiorentina. Technically still a Chelsea player, he was forced through a 5 million euro loan deal to Roma. Mohamed really began to show his true colors at Roma. Salah was then signed by Roma for a 15 million euro permanent contract, but it would only last one season before Liverpool acquired him.
