When she was 14 years old, she enrolled in the boarding school North Carolina School of Arts to pursue dance. She attended the Professional Children’s School in New York and completed an apprenticeship with the American Ballet Theatre.
She made the decision to stop dancing in 2016 since she had been offered a position as an apprentice with the North Carolina Dance Theatre and had begun modeling. Later, she decided to pursue acting instead of modeling and enrolled in classes at London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
Aside from that Margaret attended New York University in addition to dance, modeling, and acting schools, but she quit after a semester when she received a break in acting.
