Later, he studied at Cordwainers Technical College in London from 1982 to 1984.
Career
Choo worked for two design companies for nine years after school. In 1986, he opened his own shop in an old hospital building. He gained attention from major events like London Fashion Week and Vogue magazine, which featured his shoes and boosted his profile. Princess Diana’s support in the early 1990s further elevated his image.
Working with Tamara Mellon in the 90s, they created a luxury shoe line. In 1996, they co-founded J. Choo Limited, opening their first store in London.
