James Carter was born in 1924 at the Wise Sanitarium where the mother is a registered nurse, the humanitarian politician had his child-hood in Plains, Georgia. A report by usatoday.com reveals that the former president James carter has decided to stay at home and receive hospice care. The report reads, “after a series of short hospital stays, former U.S. President Jimmy Carter today decided to spend his remaining time at home with his family and receive hospice care instead of additional medical intervention. He has the full support of his family and his medical team,” the statement read.
At 98, he’s lived longer than any other former commander-in-chief. And his 42 years after leaving the White House means he has spent more time as an ex-president than anyone else.
