JAMB 2021: Date For Sales of UTME/DE form to be Announced on March 24
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB has said it would announce the date for commencement of sales of 2020/2021 UTME/DE Form by March 24.
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB has said it would announce the date for the commencement of 2020 sales of UTME/DE form by March 24.
This was disclosed in the weekly bulletin that was released by the body on Monday, March 15, 2021.
Usually, JAMB annually announces its date for commencement of sales of UTME and DE form in February.
However, the COVID-19 pandemic occasioned a lockdown that shut the gates of every educational institution amongst other sectors.
This, among other factors, disrupted the academic calendar of the institution in Nigeria.
The Board said:
“The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has concluded all arrangements to roll out the sale of the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and Direct Entry application documents.
The dates for the sale of the documents, the conduct of mock examination and the UTME will be announced latest on Wednesday, 24th March 2021.
Unlike what was obtainable in previous years, this year’s exercise is peculiar owing to a series of disruptions to virtually all aspects of public life occasioned by the COVID -19 pandemic.
“It is with this extant reality in mind that the delay is being experienced with the Board embarking on a series of strategic adjustments aimed at ensuring that academic activities are not unduly impacted.”
The board also sent out a warning to the general public to beware of fraudsters advertising contrary to dupe unsuspecting candidates of their money.
