In the video released by Punch, Baba Ijesha, a visitor could be seen with the actress in her home having a conversation before she moved out of the apartment, leaving him and the teenage girl.
Moreso, the duo of Baba Ijesha and the girl who seemed not to be aware the room had been bugged, starting making advances at each other.
In the video, Baba Ijesha, a visitor was seen making advancement to the 14 years-old-girl who did not refuse the advancement. He was seen seducing her by licking her arms and body.
However, there were reports earlier in the week that actor Baba Ijesha would be released from custody on Friday, which of course generated outrage across social media.
Speaking with newsmen, a senior officer of the Lagos State Police Command stated that “So, can we continue to keep him when the offence is subject to bail and when there is no court sitting? That is against his fundamental human rights and the police do not work on sentiments. Directives have been given out for his release on bail.”
“There was no case of defilement, people are just talking out of sentiment. They are not talking from the point of law. We interviewed all parties involved in the case for three hours today (Wednesday),” he added.
Reacting to the video released on Youtube, some Nigerians believed it was purely an act to punish Baba Ijesha while others lamented on the situation.
