Ed Sheeran named UK’s most played artist of the year

Popular British singer, Ed Sheeran has revealed that he prefers Ghanian Jollof to Nigerian Jollof, although he has not tasted Nigerian Jollof.

The international singer made the revelation in a video shared on the official page of the Nigerian singer Yemi Alade, while they were at the 2021 Earth shot Prize Awards Ceremony in London.

In the video, Ed Sheeran told Yemi Alade that he prefers Ghana Jollof and according to Yemi Alade, he hasn’t even tasted Nigerian Jollof and he has already chosen Ghana Jollof over Nigerian Jollof.

Sharing the video she wrote: So @teddysphotos Started arguing about Ghanaian and Nigerian jollof ????(he hasn’t eaten Nigerian Jollof yet oo ,the battle hasn’t been won)

However, the English Singer had stated a few months back that his 8-Months-Old Baby Cries When She Hears His Music and was not his biggest fan.

The international superstar made the revelation in an interview on BBC Radio 1, noting that his infant daughter, Lyra Antarctica, is not a fan of his music as he would have hoped.

He said Lyra was “not my biggest fan”, although she does like the odd song.

“She really likes Shape Of You, the marimba sound is good, but she doesn’t like anything loud or anything belty,” he said.

Recall that the couple said they were on “cloud nine” shortly after announcing the arrival of their first child, who they named Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran last September.
