Muhammed Awal Mustapha, popularly known as Mompha Junior, son of Nigerian Instagram celebrity Mompha, was recently described as the “world’s youngest billionaire” in a report on the Scottish SUN.

According to the report, Mompha Junior who is only nine years old owned his first mansion at the age of six and travels the globe by private jet alongside his wealthy father.

Mompha who is an Instagram influencer just like his father shows off his expensive and lavish lifestyle to his 25,000 followers on Instagram.

One post shows him on the bonnet of a cream Bentley Flying Spur, which he said his dad bought for him as his first car. In another, he poses in front of a red Lamborghini Aventador dressed head to toe in designer clothes. He captioned the post: “Happy birthday to me.”

Mompha Junior seems to get his expensive taste from his father Ismailia Mustapha, popularly known as Mompha who is well known for his lavish spending and luxurious lifestyle.

Mompha is notorious for sharing photos of their lavish lifestyles on Instagram to his 1.1million Instagram followers.  Photographs on his social media account capture him showing off banknotes, posing with designer shopping bags, and even taking snaps with lions and tigers at a safari park on the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius

Mompha reportedly bought Mompha Jr his first mansion for his sixth birthday in 2019. Sharing a picture of the house on Instagram. He wrote: “Owning your own home is one of the best feelings ever. It can’t be described in words, it can’t be quantified in money.

“Homeownership is a feeling that makes life’s daily grind worth facing. It reassures you that after all the ups and downs you have a place to go to…. A place that will never judge you and always invite you with open arms…

“Congrats My Son on your New Home. Ur birthday Gift from Daddy.”

Praising his son achievement in another post, he wrote: “The youngest landlord who wears Gucci and still owns a house. He deserves some accolades cos he has paid his dues in full.”

Mompha is said to have made his fortune from a bureau de change business in Lagos before moving into investments. His net worth is estimated at $15 million, and it is not clear how his son, qualifies as a billionaire.

But he is now facing criminal charges accused of laundering more than £10million by the EFCC. He was remanded in custody to await trial and then released on 200 Million Naira bail.
