BIOGRAPHY OF CHRIS KRATT
Chris Kratt is an American educational television host and actor, best known for creating the children’s series Zoboomafoo and Kratts’ Creatures with his brother Martin Kratt . He graduated in 1992 with a BA in biology from Carelton College, Minnesota.

Chris and his older brother Martin Kratt have created several children’s television series Zoboomafoo, Kratts’ Creatures and Be the Creature (which air on CBC and National Geographic Channel), as well as Wild Kratts, which airs on PBS Kids and TVOKids. He co-hosts all his educational programs for children with his brother Martin Kratt.
Kratt interned at Conservation International in Washington, DC in 1990, and the following year he founded the Carleton Organization for Biodiversity.
From 1999 to 2000, Chris starred alongside his brother Martin on the show Zoboomafoo. On the PBS children’s show, they had many adventures with animals and with the help of Zoboomafoo a Coquerel’s sifaka lemur (Propithecus coquereli).
From June 13 to August 3, 2008, they both appeared in Creature Adventures, a stage show at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
Martin and his brother Chris currently live in Ottawa, Ontario since 2018 where their Wild Kratts series is produced.
