Chris Johnson is an American meteorologist who works as a meteorologist for WLKY. He previously worked for the CBS affiliate in Lexington, Ky.
Johnson graduated from Western Kentucky University with a degree in meteorology in 2014. He also has a communications degree from Morehead State University. While still at Western Kentucky University, Johnson worked for the Kentucky Climate Center as a research assistant.
He published his research work “Evaluating Weather Research and Forecasting Model Sensitivity to Land and Soil Conditions Representative of Karst Landscapes” in an international scientific journal, Boundary-Layer Meteorology.
