Avril Lavigne was born on September 27, 1984, in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. She was born to Jean-Claude Lavigne and Judith-Rosanne “Judy” Loshaw. The couple recognized their child’s vocal abilities when she was two years old, while she was singing on their way home from church.
