The roughly 40-second video, shared widely on Sunday, September 6, 2026, shows Nwifuru and several women performing coordinated dance moves inside a spacious, well-furnished hall.
The women are seen wearing colourful Ankara outfits and other formal clothing, with gold accessories and elaborate decorations visible in the background. The video also contains clips of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru speaking at a podium during what appears to be an official event.
The video was also shared by popular social media account Instablog9ja, where it quickly attracted tens of thousands of views and comments.

The video has divided social media users, with some Nigerians questioning the decision to publicly share the dance at a time when Ebonyi State faces developmental challenges.

Nwifuru, who is also known as Uzoamaka Mary-Maudline Ogbonna Nwifuru, is the wife of Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru and the founder of the Better Health for Rural Women, Children and Internally Displaced Persons (BERWO) Foundation.
