Ondo Pastor Olabanjo Felix Gold Dumps Christianity, Becomes Babalawo

Pastor Olabanjo Felix Gold of Image of God Evangelical Ministries has announced his departure from Christianity to embrace Ìṣẹ̀ṣe, identifying himself as Ifawamiri Aworan Olodumare, a Babalawo of Ifá.

Pastor Announces Conversion

In a video shared online, Olabanjo expressed gratitude to Ifá and acknowledged the traditional spiritual elders he said guided him through his new religious path.

“I am Pastor Olabanjo Felix Gold, who was formerly the founder of Image of God Evangelical Ministries before, but who is now Ifawamiri Aworan Olodumare, Babalawo of Ifá,” he said.

He also thanked his Oluwo, Baba Aifuwapẹ, Oluṣẹgun Latunji, whom he identified as the Araba of Isararemọ.

‘Ìṣẹ̀ṣe Is the Real Deal’

Olabanjo further appreciated people who supported him during his spiritual journey and acknowledged the role of elders in traditional spiritual practices.

“I want to thank all the children who stood firmly by me wherever they raised me by hand and foot,” he said.

The former pastor then declared his position on Christianity and other foreign religions, saying: “All these foreign religions are lies and Ìṣẹ̀ṣe is the real deal.”

His announcement has drawn attention online, particularly because of his previous role as the founder of an evangelical ministry before publicly identifying with Ifá and traditional Yoruba spirituality.
