Super Eagles striker Akor Adams has completed a club-record transfer to newly promoted Serie A side Venezia FC, with the Italian club unveiling the Nigerian forward in traditional agbada to celebrate his arrival.

The 26-year-old joined Venezia from Spanish club Sevilla in a deal reportedly worth between €16 million and €17 million, with performance-related bonuses capable of increasing the total value to about €22 million.

Club-Record Signing

Venezia confirmed that Adams has signed a contract that will keep him at the club until June 30, 2030.

The transfer is regarded as the biggest in the club’s history and signals Venezia’s ambition to strengthen its squad ahead of the new Serie A campaign.

During the unveiling, Adams wore a black agbada and matching cap while posing with club officials and holding up his new Venezia jersey.

The striker has also represented Nigeria at senior level and was part of the Super Eagles squad that secured a bronze medal at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
