Content creator Untouchable Comedies has raised concern after a fire incident in his home, which he said was caused by a power bank, leaving part of his furniture damaged.
Early morning fire incident
The comedian disclosed that the incident occurred around 5 a.m., when a power bank reportedly triggered a fire outbreak in his home.
In a video shared online, a visibly burnt chair was shown as part of the damage caused by the incident.
He noted that he narrowly escaped what could have been a more serious situation.
Warning to the public
Untouchable used the incident to caution Nigerians about the risks associated with improper use of portable charging devices.
“Make everybody dey careful… na God save me from this one,” he said.
He advised users to avoid keeping power banks close to them while sleeping, stressing the need for safety when charging electronic devices.

According to him, the experience highlights the potential dangers of everyday gadgets if not handled properly.
“Please… don’t always keep it close to you when you are sleeping… my chair burnt because of power bank,” he added.
