Social media personality Eniola Fagbemi, popularly known as Sisi Alagbo, and her husband, Akeem Adesola, have both issued public apologies following the circulation of a leaked private video that has stirred widespread reactions online.
Sisi Alagbo breaks silence
Sisi Alagbo, in a Facebook post on Wednesday, admitted fault and expressed regret over the incident.
“I own my mistakes, and I apologise with all sincerity for the video circulating online,” she wrote.
“I am deeply sorry to everyone who felt disappointed in me.”
She also revealed that the backlash has taken a toll on her emotional well-being, stating that she has struggled to eat and sleep since the video surfaced.
“I am already passing through a lot. I can’t eat or sleep for days. Even sleeping medicines aren’t working for me any longer,” she said.

Husband tenders public apology
Her husband, Akeem Adesola, also released a detailed public apology, taking responsibility for his actions and acknowledging the impact of the incident.
“I write with a deep sense of responsibility and sincere remorse to extend my heartfelt apologies… over the recent incident involving a leaked scandal,” he stated.
“I acknowledge the disappointment, embarrassment, and concern this situation has caused, and I take full responsibility for my actions.”
He apologised to his family, friends, associates, religious leaders, and the wider public, admitting that his conduct fell short of expected standards.

Appeal for forgiveness and reflection
Akeem said he is using the moment for reflection and personal growth, pledging to rebuild trust and uphold better values.
“I am committed to making better decisions, rebuilding trust, and upholding integrity in both my private and public life going forward,” he added.
Sisi Alagbo also appealed to the public for understanding, asking for forgiveness amid the ongoing criticism.
“Please forgive me. I don’t want to injure myself. I only have a little strength left,” she said.
