There are numerous celebrities who are often not concerned with the law until they break it. A lot of famous people make headlines because they have problems with the police. It’s pretty easy to make a mistake and find yourself on the wrong side of the law. Being a celebrity is a job of great responsibility that one should be aware of. Violations of the law are always marked with negative feedback and there is no way to hide it.

Read on about some well-known musicians who had some awkward moments with the police in 2014.

  • Taste Flav

Flavor was arrested on January 9, 2014 while he was on his way to his mother’s funeral for driving at 120 km/h in a 90 km/h zone. His driver’s license was suspended, but this wasn’t his first suspension. An interesting fact is that his license has been suspended for the 16th time. Police also found a small amount of marijuana in the car.

  • Justin Bieber

The teen sensation got trouble with the law on January 23, 2014 for driving under the influence, drag racing, an expired license and resisting arrest. Justin told the cops he’d been on some antidepressants, beer, and marijuana. Let’s not forget that he was driving a rented yellow Lamborghini. Justin should be more careful driving around Miami.

  • Chris Brown

This list might not be complete without one of the following: most controversial singers Chris Brown. Chris has a lot of trouble with the law and the most recent was violating his parole in 2014. He failed to follow the rehab facility’s program and was jailed for a month. They said he couldn’t stay out of trouble and there was a possibility of a 4-year prison sentence for him. Brown’s previous case involved issues with his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna.

  • Wiz Khalifa

It seems like Wiz can’t go anywhere without his marijuana. In May 2014, Khalifa was arrested at the Texas airport. A green leaf was found on his TSA check and he was immediately arrested. Even if it was just 0.5 grams of pot, it was still illegal and he knew it. But Wiz seems unwary, as he took a selfie in prison and posted it to Instagram.

  • Rick Ross

Maybe it’s no surprise for a rapper to get arrested for marijuana possession anymore. Rick addressed this on June 27, 2014 after his performance in Greensboro, North Carolina. He was released after paying a small sum of $1,000. Sometimes breaking the law doesn’t cost a lot of money, but the celebrity still made the front pages of the newspapers.

  • Keyshia Cole

If you’re a celebrity, even the smallest confrontation can lead to an arrest. Keyshia was not happy at all when she had to spend the night of September 18, 2014 in prison. Police arrested her for assaulting a woman who was hanging out with her rumored boyfriend, Birdman.

  • Phil Rudd

Probably the most serious allegations are related to the AC/DC drummer. Phil was arrested for hiring a hitman to murder two men in New Zealand. But that’s not all. He was charged with possession of methamphetamine and pot. The police searched his home and found the illegal substances. After Rudd clarified some of the allegations surrounding the assassination, he was released on bail.

  • Xzibit

Here’s a rap artist he wasn’t arrested formarijuana. Xzibit went home after his own wedding reception. But he was heavily drunk and the cops weren’t too polite when they stopped him. It all happened on November 30th, 2014 and Xzibit will have another reason to remember his special day.

  • Waka Flocka Flamme

Waka rose to popularity in mainstream rap music very quickly. But that doesn’t mean the police will let him go with a gun at the airport. On October 10, 2014, Flocka Fame was arrested at Atlanta Airport for having a gun in his carry-on luggage.

  • Ray J

Ray is the last on this list of arrested musicians. Police had to arrest him after he was accused of groping a woman in the lobby of the Beverly Wilshire Hotel on May 30, 2014. It all started when he was asked to leave the hotel, but he refused. His star status was above the situation until the police came and took him away.
