Who is Minos?

Eduardo Sanchez Montaño , better known as Minos, is a rapper, singer and freestyler who, thanks to his great musical and improvisational talent, became the Red Bull Bolivian Champion in 2019 . Rapper Minos was born on February 7, 2000 in Santa Cruz and is currently considered one of the most famous rappers and freestylers in Bolivia.

To win the grand prize, he had to fight a tough battle in the first round against Shadow, the 2016 Bolivian champion, then he eliminated Sasquatch, Artkiller in the semifinals, and in the final he faced Neón, who was defending his title and who was also considered the favorite but Minos arrived to show him what he was capable of and with his peculiar style of weathering, rhymes and forceful phrases managed to beat him, thus becoming the big winner of the night and as the RedBull Bolivia 2019 Champion .

“I don’t know how to describe this moment, it’s just magical. It is fulfilling a dream”, said  Minos after receiving the title of champion and entering the elite of the great winners of the Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos de República Bolivia . Sadly , Minos could not go to the grand international final because due to problems with his visa, he could not be at the great event, as the authorities announced at that time; “We regret to inform you that Minos will not be able to participate in the International Final due to visa issues. One of these places will be occupied by  Bnet, fourth place in the last edition”.

After not being able to participate in the great international final of the previous year due to problems with his visa, Minos had his direct step a year later to the long-awaited International battle of Red Bull 2020 that would take place in Peru and which everyone would attend. the great winners of the regional broadcasts in order to meet the most talented, ingenious and with the greatest improvisation skills who would win the title of the year in the most important rap and freestyle event in the world. 

The triumph he achieved in his country led him to be part of the long-awaited International Red Bull 2020 battle that would take place in the Dominican Republic and which would be attended by all the great winners of regional broadcasts in order to meet the most talented, ingenious and with the greatest skill of improvisation that would take the title of the year in the most important rap and freestyle event in the world; being the first time that it would be broadcast without an audience due to the coronavirus pandemic that was plaguing the world at the time.

In the 2020 Red Bull International Final, the best rap exponents who came out winners from each country were presented, among them were  Acertijo (Chile),  Rapder  and  Aczino (Mexico),  Bnet and  Skone (Spain), Elevn , Valles T ( Colombia), Exodo Lirical  and Shield Master (Dominican Republic), Mac (Ecuador), Minos (Bolivia), Naicen  (Uruguay),  SNK (Costa Rica), Stick  (Peru),  Tata MC (Argentina) and  Yartzi(USA). Those in charge of presenting the event were Queen Mary and Serko Fu, two references within the scene, DJ Sonicko and the judges were Jony Beltrán, Arkano, Mozart La Para, Blazzt and Muphasa.

Leaving aside his career as a rapper a bit, at the end of 2020 Minos launched his twitch channel , in which he would be posting his games from some of his favorite video games such as Among Us.
