Edgardo Cuevas Feliciano, better known as Lyanno in the artistic world, was born on April 22, 1996 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. With a vocation for the world of music since he was little, he studied at the Escuela Libre de Música, graduating with the title of Sound Engineer. Here we must point out that Lyanno himself confesses that he was not always interested in being a singer, before his adolescence he was interested in the process of creating music, hence his university degree.

Lyanno’s stage name is derived from his middle surname “Feliciano”. We know that Lyanno has a special relationship with his mother, Flor Feliciano, and the artist has mentioned in more than one interview that he wanted to highlight his second last name in his artistic name, in a way of paying tribute to his mother. of the.

In his teenage years, he felt attracted to the musical world, and that is how Lyanno  began to compose songs that were influenced by urban music. At that time he shared his creations on a SoundCloud account as a user named Gardo, which we can consider as his first stage name before performing songs in the R&B genre.

It was in 2015 when Lyanno  ventured into this musical genre with the song entitled Fruto Prohibido , which is actually a mix between R&B and Hip hop. As we already mentioned, it was with the interpretation of this song that he decided to change his stage name from Gardo to Lyanno , in the singer’s words, because the latter name was more appropriate to his new style and gave him a better representation.

After the success of Forbidden Fruit , Lyanno was motivated to continue in the R&B genre, drawing inspiration from other singers such as Trey Songz and the group The Weeknd.

In 2016 he published what would be his first album, which bears the title of SODA , which is a mix between the R&B and Soul genres, in which the influence of The Weeknd group can be clearly seen due to its explicit content, rstic character of a new generation of R&B performers. Throughout this same year , Lyanno  began projects that exposed the urban musical genre, such as the remix of the song Condenada, in whose production she collaborated with Mike Towers and Jon Gonz.

Since then Lyanno  would begin to have collaborations with different artists of the urban genre, among which we can mention Sousa, Lary Over, Lunay ,  Farruko , Rauw Alejandro , Rafa Pabón, Chris Wandell, and Brytago.

Shortly after  , Lyanno released the album known as Am , in which his songs Víctima and En la mía stand out. Also during 2017, in a collective work with Fred Oda, he brought to light the song called Exclusiva; in which Rafa Pabón, Brray, Rauw Alejandro  and Chris Wandell intervened. All these songs are characterized by their explicit content, being one of the greatest exponents of the urban genre.

With the song Gritos y Posiciones, Lyanno would return to the R&B style and later the musical works of Less timidity would follow, La Oportunidad (which was the original theme of Rauw Alejandro, where Álvaro Díaz, Sousa, Chris Wandell and Mike Towers also participated .

With Location, Lyanno ‘s fame took an incredible leap, and so it is that songs like Airplane Mode (performed with Darell ), La Bellakera, Mas, Taste freestyle, and Prepare (performed with Gigolo and Exce) have had hundreds of hits. reproductions on Youtube, and the name of the artist Lyanno is already known internationally.

2018 was perhaps the year in which Lyanno had the most collaborative work, so we can highlight his following works: A tu nombre (with Ele a el Dominio), Entre Tantas (along with Eladio Carrion and Brray), Let yourself go (with Alex Rose) , Toda Remix (with Lenny Tavárez), Hoy (again with Lenny Tavárez and Rauw Alejandro ), Casualidad (with Cauty ), and what we can consider the most important song by Lyanno , since it would open the doors for him as a new exponent of the urban genre: Luz Apaga, a collaborative work in which he participated together with Ozuna, Rauw Alejandro, and  Lunay . Which in a short time passed 64 million views on YouTube.

Another important success, also released during 2018 and that we cannot leave behind is Pa Mí, where he collaborated with Lary Over, and which was followed by his work known as A solas, in which he participated with Brytiago, Anuel AA , Alex Rose and  Lunay ; but also, we must highlight that this successful theme was composed by Lyanno himself together with  Lunay .

At the beginning of 2019 he was in the remix of Es Normal (original by Javiielo), where he worked alongside Sousa and Rauw Alejandro . During 2020, Lyanno how much he liked collaborating with Rauw Alejandro , who curiously began his musical career almost at the same time as him, and with whom he shares many points of view, which makes them have a very close bond of friends, almost brothers. In addition to the fact that, despite the quarantine due to the health emergency, he continues working on a new album that he hopes to release when all this is over, so that people can enjoy it properly.
