Who is litzy?

Litzy Vanya Domínguez Balderas better known only as Litzy is a famous singer and actress who has stood out in several novels and series such as Manual Para Galanes, Al Otro Lado del Muro, Señora Acero and ¿Quién mató a Sara?. Ella litzy was born on October 27, 1982 in Mexico City and she is also well known for having been part of the Jeans group, although she was only there for a year.

Beginnings in Litzy’s life

Litzy Vanya Domínguez Balderas , better known as just Litzy in the world of acting and music, was born on October 27, 1982 in Mexico City. It is considered that the beginnings of her artistic career are in the year 1995, when Paty Sirvent , her friend and fellow student, convinced her to be a member of a musical group that she would later be known by the name of Jeans . This is how this group was finally made up of Litzy , Paty Sirvent , Angie and Tabahta Visuet.

Litzy’s career and history

In 1996, the musical group Jeans  released their first album titled simply as Jeans, which included the songs “Pepe”, “Me pongo mis jeans”, and “Nueva Generación” among other songs. We have to mention that after the release of this album the musical group gained a lot of popularity and achieved a high number of sales both in Mexico and in Latin America. However, Litzy  ‘s father did not agree with the way the group was run by  Paty Sirvent ‘s father , a man named Alejandro Srivent, and it was because of this disagreement that Litzy finally decided to leave the Jeans group in May of 1997, news that caused a lot of impact among his followers.

The following year, in 1998, Litzy began her career as a solo singer , recording her first album which she called Transparente , which was produced by Eduardo Posadas. Soon after, just 6 months after its release, the album achieved sales that exceeded 200,000 records in Mexico and Latin America, and mainly the song known as “No te extraño” would be a strong competition in Europe . against the greatest exponents of the eurodance genre. And the popularity of this song reached such a level that it was even selected to be one of the songs that would make up the soundtrack of the movie called Sexo, Pudor y Lágrimas.

After this success,  Litzy increased her fame with the release of the single “I would like to be older”, whose lyrics tell us about the difficulties a teenager has when falling in love with someone older. The composers of this song are Raúl Ornelas and Luis Carlos Monroy, members of the musical group known as Tres de Copas.

After the success of the album Transparente , that of Más Transparente arrived back in 1999 , among whose songs the songs “ I live for you”, “Espejismo” and “No hay palabras” stand out . It would also be during this year of 1999 and until the year 2000 when Litzy would make her debut as an actress in the DKDA telenovela, sueños de juventud, where she gave life to the character of Laura Martínez; and thanks to her excellent performance, she was nominated for the TVyNovelas Awards in the category of “best newcomer of the year”, in that novel she shared credits with Andrea Torre ,  Alessandra Rosaldo ,  Nora Salinas ,  Patricio Borghetti , Mauricio Barcelata, among others.

In 2001 we could see her in the children’s soap opera known as Carita de ángel being herself. In 2002 she would have a leading role in the telenovela Daniela, giving life to the character of Daniela Gamboa, a girl who dreams of becoming a dancer. We are aware that around the year 2003, more precisely in the month of September, Litzy  entered as a substitute for Lucero in the play known as Regina, a musical for an awakened nation, where she, by the way, had the starring role.

Litzy  would return to the musical world in 2004, with the release of the album La Rosa , which only went on sale in the United States, since the music belonged to the Grupero genre, at that time only known in the neighboring country. It would be in this same year when she in the month of June she would be one of the 14 contestants of the reality show known as Protagonistas de La Fama VIP , where the public chose her as the winner. The following year, in 2005, Litzy  was again as the protagonist in the soap opera Amartye así, Frijolito, playing the character of Margarita Lizárraga, a humble girl who earns a living as a mariachi, and who is characterized by having a persevering personality. we know litzyHe interpreted the main theme of the telenovela, giving him international fame.

Later, in 2007, Litzy would  participate in the film known by the name of Total Subversion. It would also be during this year that she would appear as a contestant on Disco de Oro, a television program on TV Azteca that was hosted by José Luis Rodríguez (nicknamed El Puma) alongside María Guerra.

A short time later, in 2009, Litzy  would appear giving life to the character of Luz María Mendoza in the soap opera known as Pecadora . And by 2010 she was Julieta Dorelli in Quiéreme idiot . During the years 2011 to 2012 she appeared as Marisa Luján Villa (Cinderella) in the American soap opera Una Maid en Manhattan. We cannot ignore the fact that it would also be in 2012 when her name would appear in the Tu Mundo Awards as a nominee in the categories of “favorite leading lady” and “best couple” (together with Eugenio Siller ) thanks to her performance in the North American soap opera A Maid in Manhattan , and “best soap opera song” thanks to the song ” Love without end”in the soap opera A Maid in Manhattan. Nor can we forget that she was also nominated for the People en Español Awards with the categories of “best actress” and “best couple” , also for her work in Una Maid in Manhattan.

It would be in the year 2014 when Litzy  would be in the television series known by the name of Señora Acero with the character of Aracely Paniagua González. She also appeared in the web telenovela titled Secreteando, being herself in the episode titled “I should have told you a long time ago”.

During 2015, her name would appear in the Tu Mundo Awards with the categories of “best supporting actress” and “best couple” (together with Rodrigo Guirao ), both recognitions thanks to her work in Señora Acero . It was also this year that she appeared in the emotional reunion of Jeans, an event that was given the name of Déjá Vu, where her voice sang the popular song “Pepe” again. And after this presentation, she accompanied her former colleagues and friends on a tour around Mexico.

Litzy was in Señora Acero until 2016. The news we have about her character is that Aracely Paniagua is the co-star, and is characterized by being beautiful, extroverted, sincere, with very straight morals and good feelings, who dreams with finding Prince Charming in her life. However, she has a serious problem, which is her addiction to her drugs, while by 2017 we could see her in Christmas Miracles, an American melodrama in which she played Mónica Jhonson.

In the musical world Litzy  was part of the 90’s Pop Tour album and was part of the tour reuniting with his former group Jeans sharing with other great music figures such as Fey , Lynda Thomas , OV7, among others. The following year, in 2018, she would be Eliza Romero Rosales in Al otro lado del mundo, an American telenovela. We cannot forget the release of the second volume of the 90’s Pop Tour album. Later, in 2019, she appeared in Decisiones: Some win, others lose, giving life to the character of Rocío Espinoza. Also in this year she would release the album that would be the third volume of the 90’s Pop Tour. She later gave life to the character of Mariana in Manual para Galanes.
