ISBO, short for Isboseth, his real name, was born on July 18, 1994 in the city of Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico . Composer, singer and musician ruled under the sign of Cancer is a dreamer, sentimental, sensitive, imaginative and poet. He loves the wonderful, the fantastic, music. Coming from a family of musicians, at the age of 6 he made his debut on Televisión Mexicana with the support of his parents who saw great potential in him, starting his artistic career.

He began his musical education at home, the guitar being his greatest confidant writing his first songs. Carrying rhythm in his blood, at a very young age ISBO discovers another of his great passions, dancing; where it is widely developed.

In 2013 he officially became known as the vocalist of the group AB Quintanilla and the Kumbia Kings All-Starz along with the BLANCO Y NEGRO record release from which hits such as “Solo” “Blanco y Negro” “Botella de Veneno” among others.

In 2014 AB Quintanilla, ISBO & The All-Starz Acoustic Sessions by VENEMUSIC live from Miami came out to the public , where the great hits of the famous producer were performed with the touch and charisma of ISBO in the new versions.
Although Isbo did make himself known at the academy, few know that he also participated in the Kumbia All Starz group, although it did not last long since he joined the group when the group was no longer at its best, however “Fuiste Mala” was one of the themes that stood out a little within said group of AB Quintanilla, brother of the deceased Selena. He had also already gone through Televisa with his musical group Kuban Flow. That same year ISBO made its theater debut with the staging “Por Que Los Hombres Aman A Las Cabronas”revealing a new facet in his artistic career.

In 2015 he prepares his launch as a soloist, with songs inspired by the Latin pop genre, preserving the roots of cumbia. In 2016, she launched “Con Un Tequila” with the participation of the successful Cuban group KUBAN FLOW , a song that reached the first places of popularity in Mexico and South America.
Originally from Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Isbo became known nationally thanks to the TV Azteca reality show “La Academia” and although at first he was not having good comments, little by little he achieved a great performance in one of the musical reality shows. , the most important on Mexican television, leaving everyone silent, since users had initially said that it had no future. But it was with the theme My Way, by José José , with which he was consolidated before the judges and the public who assured that the student had absorbed in a good way, all the tools that his teachers gave him.

When Isbo entered the academy, the rumor spread that the singer had a relationship with one of the judges Horacio Villalobos and after denying it, a week later Isbo left the competition, being the seventh expelled, which many assured was due to The production did not want there to be any doubt that it was not there due to leverage or favoritism and preferred to remove it. Strangely, Isbo was also associated with his friend from the academy ” Fernando ” But he denied that it was true and assured that one of the kisses that he gave him in the program was only out of friendship. “With Isbo it’s a very, very cool friendship, I love him very much, but up to that, that is? It’s just friendship. I’m sure of what I am, I didn’t care, I wasn’t aware of the cameras,”declared Fernando, another contestant from La Academia.

Curiously, as usually happens, Isbo at the end of the competition turned out to be the most famous student, even above all those who were in the top 3 and the same winner of the broadcast.
The acceptance that he obtained from the public was very successful, especially from the gay community, which increased the rumors that Isbo was gay.

On March 22, 2019, he launched the song Chupi Chupi together with a group of men who danced without clothes and with very erotic hot movements, the group was called ” Malakings “. In the Chupi Chupi Isbo video, he only wore red underwear and a large palette with which he performs fiery dance steps alongside the other five members of the group.

The name of Malakings , was born from malandros, and reyes (in English) and was made up of Isbo, former member of La Academia and Kumbia Kings , Ricardo Padilla (22), Sergio Herrera (28), Javier Barrera (23), Luis Estrada (19) and Rodrigo Plazas (26).

On August 15, 2019, Isbo decided to start his career as a solo singer and released the song ” Trying to forget you “ in a style of cumbia and pop music, but it had no significance within music and practically went unnoticed by all the people. Before being at La Academia Isbo, he had already released a song called ” La Cama “ with an urban and cumbia cut, but it also failed to be a success. In 2020 Isbo was the sponsor of Total Transformation, a plan that promised everyone who acquired the routine to have an excellent body. 

In May 2020 it was announced that a new reality show would reach the screens of TV Azteca and although different programs were initially rumored, it was finally learned that it would be Survivor México which would be hosted by Arturo Islas Allende . Survivor is a show that has already been very successful in various parts of the world in which its participants are abandoned on an island in order to survive extreme situations.

In July 2020,  Isbo surprised everyone when she appeared as one more contestant on “Survivor México” in its first edition because the participants were never announced until the day of the premiere; Isbo  was one of the only 4 celebrities within the competition along with Curvy Zelma , Alex Sirventand Serrath ; but Isbo’s passage through Survivor was not very successful but he was able to reach at least almost half of the competition.
