Who is FMK?

Enzo Ezequiel Sauthier ,  better known as FMK, is a famous Argentine singer, freestyler and composer who throughout his successful musical career has stood out with great hits such as Forgive me, Not now, Calle dos, Although you are no longer here, I know that you, among others. FMK was born on February 7, 2000 in Buenos Aires, Argentina and is currently considered one of the best exponents of rap in his country and in all of Latin America.

Enzo Sauthier, better known in the world of the musical spectacle with the artistic name of FMK , was born in Necochea, province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is our knowledge that from the early age of 9 he showed interest in the world of art, having a knack for writing poetry.

It is in this way that in 2010 the now famous singer  FMK was a participant in a literary contest that was known as “Leopoldo Lugones”, an event that is considered what opened the way for him as a composer of songs that after I would opt for the genre known as freestyle.

Subsequently, for the date of July 14,  FMK would release the song entitled “Ahora no”, which was recorded with the collaboration of the artist Kodigo , for November 7, he released to the public the song known as “Una vez más ”.

The following year, more specifically in October 2019, it is our knowledge that FMK  made a remix version of the famous song known as “Calle 2”, in which he collaborated with two important artists: MYA and Coscu. Regarding this topic, we have to comment that  FMK revealed all the details of its production in an interview with MYA and Coscu, shortly after, on December 12, 2019, he made the song known to his followers known by the name of “Although you are no longer here” , which has been described as an “impeccable dancehall”.

On the date of December 17, 2019, he released the remix version of the song ” Aynea “, where he had the participation of the singers María Becerra and Beret and later he would work again with  María Becerra  but now with  TINI  on the single “Lie to Me”.

FMK  recounted in an interview how he lived through the quarantine and what it meant for his musical career: “Thank God I am healthy, my family is fine and my friends are. My entire environment is fine, always being cautious, with good hygiene, without leaving the house. Taking care of each other, not greeting each other much. I spent a week in the studio and now I came home, to be a little calmer… To write a song, in my case, I’m always looking for rhythms, looking for lyrics and then the phrases come to mind and whether you like it or not, that’s freestyle, but with “Hielo” it happened that I was recording and the phrases were coming out.”

It was in this same interview when he took the opportunity to tell how he carries out his creative process for his successful music, this is how he said that most of the time he is listening to beat and that is when inspiration arises, while sometimes he It works to resort to resources such as humming to get an idea. On some occasions FMK  resorts to personal experiences and from these generates a story that mixes reality with fiction. This is how he commented that: “When I was little I really liked to make up stories. And that stayed with me a lot, and I express myself more on the sad side than on the happy side, I have a facility for writing nostalgic songs.”

In the same way, he was sincere that not only his experiences intervene in his musical creation process, but also the experiences of the people, since he is an artist who seeks to get closer to the public and listen to it to make songs with which his followers identify. This is how excited FMK  commented that: “You make the song for yourself and people write to you to tell you that they felt identified, it’s crazy.”

However, in this interview the singer was a little more honest and even described his routine during isolation: “When they announced it (the quarantine), which was not all that serious, I spent two weeks in the studio with Big One and we put in a lot of songs. Now I came to my city, with my girlfriend. Yesterday we went shopping, we went out just for that. We try to take care of ourselves as much as we can…Today I got up at 7 in the morning to write early and I made a new song.”

In May 2021, FMK  released its new single known as “Yo se que tú” , in which it has the collaboration of the artists Lit Killah , Tiago PZK and  Rusherking , a song that was a success because in just one month achieved more than 15 million views on youtube. Regarding this recent premiere, the singer showed a new facet, which he considered the beginning of a new era in his artistic career in which there is a predominance of the most reggaeton and Latin sounds. The objective of this song is to create a relaxed atmosphere in the public in which they forget about their problems and feel like dancing.
