Who is Osirys Escobedo?

Osirys López Escobedo, better known as  Osirys “Chacorta” Escobedo, is a famous athlete and parkour expert  who became famous in 2021 when he became a participant in Exatlón Guardianes vs. Pathfinders. Osirys “Chacorta” Escobedo was born on July 13, 2002 in Nezahualcóyotl, State of Mexico and is currently considered one of the best athletes to have participated in Exatlón México.

TV Azteca announced the premiere of the new season Exatlón in August 2021, a format and program that had been tremendously successful in several countries and for the third time would be taking place in Mexico with sports commentator Antonio Rosique as the host of the program and it would soon become known that Osirys “Chacorta” Escobedo  would be one of the participants in Exatlón .

The show began with two teams “Guardines y Conquistadores” who would face tough physical and mental tests in order to find the best athlete and who would take not only the Exatlón title but also two million pesos. Osirys “Chacorta” Escobedo  was selected after demonstrating that he was one of the best athletes in all of Mexico and thus he managed to enter the broadcast and from the first day he was demonstrating that he had everything to reach the final. The program was not only successful but also became a television phenomenon that had not been on TV for a long time, and even less so on TV Azteca, so much so that the reality show lasted 6 months on the air.

In Exatlón 2021  “Guardines y Conquistadores”  the participants were divided into two teams, the first made up of being the  Guardians  (red team):  Briseida Acosta , Alely Hernández , Jahir Ocampo , Mario “Lobo” Orozco , Dulce Miranda , Alex Alpuche , Estephanie Solís, Nataly Gutiérrez , María Pérez, Daniel Vargas and Alan Mendoza ; while the Los Conquistadores team (blue team) was made up of Macky González , Marysol Cortés , David Juárez(The Beast), Ximena Duggan , Tanya Nuñez, Fernando Stalla, Enrique Guerrero, Ramiro Garza, Jonathan García, Yareli Arguijo, and Osirys Escobedo ; In addition, as if that were not enough, as in past seasons, throughout the competition, more participants were entering. 

Osirys “Chacorta” Escobedo ‘s reaction  when she found out that she would be part of the program did not wait, and that is how in various interviews she assured the entertainment press that she was really a fan of the program, which she watched every night in company of his family, although contrary to what one might think, the first team he went to was the Guardians, that is, the reds, this is how he expressed it with the following words: “I must admit that the first season was red …I mean, I was going to Daniel Corral and Ana Lago , in the second I turned blue, but still that doesn’t stop me from admiring all these great athletes.”
