Marcos Ramírez and Víctor R. Torres, better known as Los Legendarios, is a duo of Puerto Rican producers who throughout their successful artistic career have been considered two of the best producers and composers within the urban genre, achieving great musical hits for the artists with whom that they have worked The producers “Los Legendarios” made their debut in 2008 and since then their songs have been among the most listened to worldwide working for great artists such as  Rauw Alejandro ,  Sebastián Yatra ,  Wisin ,  Ozuna ,  Jesús Navarro  (Reik), among others.

Beginnings in the life of The Legendaries

Los Legendarios is the name of a duo of music producers made up of Marcos Ramírez and Víctor Torres . They were born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It is our knowledge that Marcos grew up in Trujillo Alto, and Víctor grew up in the municipality of Carolina, also in Puerto Rico.

It is considered that the beginnings of his artistic career occurred when they began as singers in a Christian group, making the musical genre of reggaeton known to religious people. Víctor’s debut came in 2005, with his participation in the album known by the name of La Verdad by the artist DJ Blaster, where he adopted the stage name of Jatcob, by then he was already part of a musical duo that became known as Vladimir &Jacob. While Marcos, for his part, made his debut in 2007, with his appearance on the album called The Elite by God’s Crew Records and T-Tanic Music; At that time, Marcos had the stage name of Marc, and was part of a musical duo called Albert y Marc.

For the production of the album The Elite, the two groups had to come together for the creation of the introductory song called “Mensajeros”, from that time both became very good friends for future collaborations.

Trajectory and history of The Legendaries

A little later, in 2008, Los Legendarios began their artistic career as music producers . Marc was in charge of producing, together with Mind Dwella, the musical theme known as “Reventando bocinas”, whose interpretation was made by singer Jaydan. While Víctor, for his part, was in charge of the production of the songs “Buscando” and “Una vez más”, which were also performed by Jaydan. Later, Víctor moved away from singing and Marc continued his participation in the production of the musical album called Los Intocables, at the same time that he also had to do with the production of the well-known albums with the titles of Los Violentos 2 and United Kingdom 2 of the singer. Manny Montes; in addition to the album called Vision of the Kingdom, by the artist DJ Blaster.

Subsequently, with the stage name Los Tranz4Merz , they began the production of various albums inscribed in the urban music genre, working for artists such as Carnal, Linares El Elegido, Stebani Cruz, Jhonny Prez and also Obie Bermúdez. At the same time, they were dedicating themselves to work for Christian artists such as Alex Zurdo (for whom they produced the records Mañana es hoy and De la A a la Z), Samitto & Esabdiel and Manny Montes.

A short time later, in 2014, around the month of April, they signed a contract with  Wisin and La Base Music Group, for the production of the album known as Los Vaqueros 3: La Trilogía. It was around that time that they changed their stage name to Los Legendarios. We must point out that the hit song known under the title “Nota de amor” appeared on that album, for the recording of which included the participation of the artist Carlos Vives as well as Daddy Yankee. Besides that they collaborated in the production with Rafy.

Subsequently, in 2016, already with the official name of Los Legendarios , they released two albums that were their own and exclusive production, which they released under the names of Los Legendarios present: Tranz4Mando el Universo , title with which they made reference to their previous stage name, at the same time that they worked with Christian music singers, such as Triple Seven and Indomar. We must also mention that they had an important participation in the productions of artists named: Funky, Michael Pratts, Musiko, Ivan 2Filoz and Omy Alka.

The following year, in 2017, with the Victory album, they had an important role in the composition of the musical theme called “Escape with me”, which was nominated at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards with the category of “tropical song”. Latina”. Shortly after they participated in the composition of the song “I would like to get away”, a song that was found included on the same album. We cannot leave aside that they were the producers of the song “I refuse”, performed by the musical group of  Jesús Navarro (Reik), in which the voices of Wisin and  Ozuna  were featured , the same musical theme that was the winner of 5 Lo Nuestro Awards, in addition to appearing in the Billboard Latin Music Awards with the category of “pop song of the year”. While the following year, in 2019, the same song received diamond certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) of the United States. We must also point out that Los Legendarios worked on the production of the song known as “Ahora”, and “Duele”, performed by Wisin y Yandel.

Already in the middle of the year 2019, Los Legendarios  were working on the song “If you give me your love”, which was performed by Carlos Vives and  Wisin . This production made them worthy of the Tropical Year Collaboration Award given at the Lo Nuestro Awards event. While the following year, in 2020, it is our knowledge that they have appeared as the producers of different songs that have been located on various Billboard charts, which have been performed by renowned artists such as Bad Bunny , Chyno and Nacho, Timbaland , Olga Tañón, Diego Torres, CNCO , Ricky Martin, Ángel y Khriz, Zion & Lennox, Carlos Vives and Carlos Arroyo.

Later, back in June of last year 2020, it is our knowledge that the artist  Wisin released a video known as La Base Documental, in which he announced that he will work on different projects with talents from new entry, including the album produced by Los Legendarios , in which we can enjoy songs performed by  Jesús Navarro  (Reik),  Ozuna , Miky Woodz, Rauw Alejandro, Wisin himself, the Black Eyed Peas, as well as incorporating two new singers who go by the names of Abdiel AB and Chris Andrew. Being that Marc himself makes his appearance on the screen with the music video for the song “Hidden Enemies”, behind the singer Wisin who interprets his verse.

This is how we arrived at the present year 2021, being that among the most recent news we have of the artistic trajectory of Los Legendarios , it is to our knowledge that they have released the album entitled Los Legendarios 001 . Regarding which we know that it is the first studio album by Marc and Rafy, released on the date of February 4. The songs that make up this album are: “Vamo Allá” (performed by  Wisin ), “Loco” (sung by Wisin, Nicky Jam and  Sech ), “Fiel” (performed by  Wisin and Jhay Cortez), “Fugitive” (by Chris Andrew), “Sunrise with you” (performed by Wisin, Abdiel and Zion), “Préndelo” (by Wisin, Jon Z and Brray), “Dance with me” (performed by Wisin, Linares,  Kevvo and Franco El Gorila), “Let’s do it again” (by Alex Rose and Abdiel), “Auto” (performed by Chris Andrew), “Mari Mari” (sung by  Wisin and Chencho Corleone ), “Giving around” (performed by Linares ), “En mi habitación” (by Wisin,  Lunay and Rauw Alejandro ), “Ganas” (Abdiel), “Me dañas la mente” (by  Wisin with Dalex), “Mami” (by Wisin with Zion), “Huele a sex” (by Wisin with Linares), “I don’t get used to it” (performed by Wisin,  Ozunaand Miky Woodz), “Mi niña” (by  Wisin and Myke Towers ) and “Hey Shorty” remix version (performed by Chris Andrew and  Ozuna ).
